Beyond Symbolizing the "power of three" as it does on the tv show "Charmed," the triquetra also represents the threefold nature of the Goddess as virgin, mother, and crone. An ancient symbol,  the triquetra is the symbolic rendering of the number 3 and has symbolized life, death, and rebirth as well as the three forces of nature: earth, air and water to many cultures in the last 5000 years.
